We’ve partnered with The Bedfordshire and Luton Community Foundation (BLCF) and other key funders to provide a Bedfordshire Coronavirus Emergency Fund. By working collaboratively, we can all deliver even more impact for our area.
In the first set of awards made last week, we approved funding to Access Bedford to enable volunteers to continue to advise and support deaf and hearing impaired remotely.
Other beneficiaries include ACCM (UK) who have been busy delivering food and collecting prescription medicines for isolated black, Asian and minority ethnic older people.
And funds will enable local homeless charity JustUs to support people in temporary accommodation and those made homeless as a result of COVID-19.
