Across the academic year 2018-2019, our schools once again supported and worked with local charities. In fact, we recorded 143 different ways in which they have offered support and this information is recorded in our public benefit report on our numbers page.
As well as offering their facilities out for free, our schools regularly invite state schools to attend productions or concerts, provide staff to work as governors on local state school boards, or work jointly on educational or arts projects.
Bedford School in particular has engaged in a formal partnership with Mark Rutherford School and many of our schools work with the HEART Academies Trust (which we are proud to sponsor) and other local schools.
Aside from supporting local state schools, many of our students volunteer for local charities and are actively engaged in fundraising.
